Lolli Native declares his intention to leave Emtee Records.
The rapper from South Africa made a statement on Wednesday in response to his boss’s social media tirade over conflict.
The record label’s owner, Emtee, caused a sensation on the internet when he discussed conflicts with other musicians in the business.
Using social media, Lolli thanked the Pearl Thusi crooner and sent him best wishes.
“It is with respect and gratitude that I confirm my departure from Emtee Records. Following a series of tweets shared last night by the label’s owner, Mthembeni Ndev (Emtee), this decision has been reached, marking the end of my journey with the label.”
“I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Emtee for his significant contributions to my career. During my time at Emtee Records, we accomplished a great deal together, and I fully respect his decision regarding my release. I wish Emtee Records and all the artists under its wing nothing but success in the future.”
“Emtee has always been like a brother to me, and that will not change. I wish him all the best in his personal and professional endeavours moving forward,” Lolli Native wrote.
