“Babize Bonke” Proves Why Heavy-K is King of the Game
The belief held by many was that Heavy-K was no longer in his prime and could not produce another hit. The drummer is disproving their assumptions with his track “Babize Bonke,” which featured Torque Muziq and Ntando Yamahlubi.
3step is not going anywhere. Our passion for the sound isn’t the only reason we’re stating this; for the first time in a long time, South African house music is experiencing new viewpoints and a different sound reality, which has prevented many fans from subscribing to its authentic melodies.
Heavy-K‘s gorgeous new song, “Babize Bonke,” features Torque Muziq and Ntando Yamahlubi, elevating the impending sounds to even higher levels. This track demonstrates the wide breadth of Heavy K‘s sound, built on top of 3Step noises and his trademark drum and bass melodies.
This new album could be one of the greatest songs of 2025 thus far, even though everything Heavy K makes ends up being gold. With a combined total of around 500k streams in just two days and a ranking of number 23 on YouTube, it is already dominating the rankings.
